Local Authority or Environment Agency?
Are you unsure as to where your local authority's responsibilities end and those of the Environment Agency start? This part of the website has been produced to make those decisions easier on all parties.
The drop down menus below help you first of all select the type of fly tipping that you are reporting or has been reported to you as a local authority. The second menu then asks for the quantity of material involved. There are a number of areas where your local authority are expected to deal with the problem up to a certain volume. In this the volumes relate to the vehicles being used in the deposition of the waste.
